Supporting Our Producers in Wake of Devastating Earthquake / Apoyo a nuestros productores afectados por el terremoto To all of our clients and friends, Thank you for all your concern and messages. While we are able to pick up communications here in Santiago, contacting artisans in the most affected areas is proving difficult. Much of the areas affected in the South are still without electricity and water. As we receive more news about the conditions of the artisans and producers that work with us, we will be passing this information along to you all. In continuing our work in Fair Trade, we are welcoming all orders, especially those from producers who have been affected by the earthquake. With more information, we will be strongly promoting the products that correspond with these artisans who are also in conditions to work. Having a reliable income will be essential as they look to rebuild their homes, workshops and lives. Concerning shipment, we will be sending more information as we communicate with workshops. This will most likely include reorganizing work at hand, priority of orders, etc. Thank you for your continued support in this moment of disaster and tragedy. Mientras tenemos capacidad de comunicarnos aquí en Santiago, nuestro esfuerzo está centrado en contactar a los artesanos y productores en las zonas más afectadas y esto está demostrando ser muy difícil. Muchas de las zonas del sur todavía les falta electricidad y agua. Estamos tratando de encontrar información de los productores que apoyamos y saber en que condiciones están. En el seguimiento de nuestro trabajo en Comercio Justo, todos los pedidos son muy bienvenidos, especialmente para productos de productores que han sido afectados por el terremoto. Con más información, estaremos promoviendo con más fuerza los productores que corresponden a las zonas en problema, si es que las personas están en condiciones de trabajar. Lo mas importante ahora será que puedan volver a tener ingresos cuando empiecen a reconstruir sus casas, talleres y vidas. Sobre las fechas de despacho, las estaremos informando apenas tengamos las comunicaciones con los talleres pues hay ahora que reorganizar todo el trabajo, las prioridades de los pedidos, etc. Gracias por su apoyo continuo, vuestra comprensión y apoyo en este momento de desastre y tragedia.
