COMPARTE offers more than 6,000 different products distributed through wholesale and retail stores, catalogs and websites in 30 countries around the world. Many of our products are available for review in the online version of our catalog as well as appearing in our printed edition. Our promotion and export services are designed to facilitate the export-import process for both the importing organizations we serve, and the Chilean artisans whose products we export. Pricing

• We maintain a current list of wholesale prices available as part of our Online Catalog, or via fax or mail. We are also happy to respond personally and promptly to any pricing questions in regards to specific products, quantities, or special design requests or modifications.
• COMPARTE is located in Santiago, Chile, therefore all prices listed are F.O.B. Santiago, Chile airport or seaport.

Forms of Payment

• There is no minimum quantity or amount for an order. Shipping insurance may be purchased and is the responsibility of the customer.
• For orders totaling less than US$3,000 we request a prepayment of 50% of the value of the order to be paid by business check or international money order in U.S. dollars. This prepayment will allow us to begin to process the order, and will be credited toward the client's account. The remaining sum and any shipping and exporting charges will be paid upon delivery of the products and accompanying documents.
• For orders exceeding US$3,000.00 we request that the client open an irrevocable line of credit in our name. See below for details with respect to the banks we use in the U.S. and Chile to facilitate this process.

Please be sure to include product number and description, quantity and any special delivery requests you may have (e.g. packaging, delivery dates).


Delivery

Under normal conditions your products will be dispatched within 45 days after we receive your order. The actual date of shipment will depend on quantities and types of products requested. Moreover, your choice of shipping method will affect the delivery time.


Packaging

Air shipments are packaged in corrugated cardboard boxes with reinforced interiors weighing 450 grams per square meter. For ocean shipments not using containers, products are packaged in wooden boxes with reinforced interiors.

The type of packaging that COMPARTE uses assures that your products will arrive in good condition. However, insurance against theft or breakage is the client's responsibility and can be provided at additional cost. If you would like the products packaged individually or using special packaging materials, we can provide associated costs according to your instructions. These additional costs will be added to the F.O.B. price for those particular products.


Labeling

Each product comes with a label stating "Made in Chile". Our F.O.B. prices include the costs of providing this labeling.


Important

All of the products that COMPARTE promotes and sells are quoted in U.S. dollars, F.O.B. Santiago, Chile airport or seaport. In some cases, products delivered by ocean freight in 20 foot containers less that ½ full (approximately 15 cubic meters) require an additional charge to cover the corresponding increase in fixed costs charged by the shipping company. We will notify you as soon as possible if this charge will apply to your order.
